We are excited to be making masks for one of our favourite Gold Coast destinations, HOTA Home of the Arts. Two masks were chosen, one featuring beautiful fabric by Gold Coast designer Ellie Whittaker and a classic black linen.
We are most honoured to make our masks for the Australian Embassy in Indonesia. They chose the Eastern Spinebill fabric by Australian designer, Jocelyn Proust.
We’re often asked what makes our masks different to a typical pleated mask, so here it is in a nutshell... We use the Luckhaus Hybrid Mask pattern which has 2 distinguishing features (1) a backwards nose pleat and (2) tapered drawstring sides that help to create a close, gapless fit. We have just added videos to our website showing two different ways you can wear your mask. The first video shows how to tie the straps around your head, and the second video shows how you can make ear loops. How you wear your mask is a personal preference, so experiment and see what works best for you.
